English for Speakers of Other Languages ESOL
Registration for ESOL classes takes place in September each year with around 70 places available in the main classes. This year 2024 registration takes place from 9:30 Monday the 16th September for the next 4 days. Please bring Current Address, email and telephone details, days available to study. You will then be matched to a teaching group. There is a high demand for this service and we are not always able to take on everyone who requests a place.
(01 Nov 2024 – we are currently working through our waiting list from September to fill the classes and will assess the need for further Registration in the New Year)
Classes begin on Tuesday the 24th of August. There are 4 classes of different ability levels, each with 4 sessions per week.
Walk in classes – the only classes run on site at present, without a waiting list are:
- Conversation Classes are held each Tuesday at 12:30 – Classroom 1&2
- Women’s ESOL runs on Mondays & Thursdays from 12:30 – Classroom 1
This is a list of other Providers compiled by ALM but please be aware it was updated in October 2022, and may not have all the classes in Merseyside, only the ones we know of.
