Eamonn

The teachers, staff and volunteers at Asylum Link would like to set up a fund in Eamonn’s name. This will go towards days out from the centre for the English Classes. It is something Eamonn enjoyed doing, whether for Refugee Week, educative visits or his regular trawl for the Second Hand shops in West Kirby. He knew it was part of people’s education to get to know the place where they lived and we want to continue that.

Eamonn’s obituary appeared in the ‘Other Lives’ section of the Guardian and was put together by several of the staff and teachers, edited by Bill our Chair.

If you would like to contribute to Eamonn’s fund please follow the link here or click on the photo below. If you can include the words “For Eamonn’s days out” in the comments, that would be very helpful. Thank you very much.

These are all the photographs we have of Eamonn, going back to at least 2004. A unique and caring man. This is a link through to the tributes given at Eamonn’s funeral on the 15th December 2020 www.youtube.com/Eamonn
